These secrets are things that you are "not supposed" to say and that can be difficult, yet fulfilling, to write about. Sofia discusses the journey of dancing with fear and tapping into her life's secrets to write her recently published book, Freedom Year: How Trying to be a Dominatrix (and Failing) Changed my Life. Learn tools that helped Sofia clarify what to publish and what to hold back, as well as make the process of writing and publishing taboo topics go more smoothly. A demonstration of Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT).

Waking up to Anti-Racism with Andrea Hylen
Saturday Jul 04, 2020
Saturday Jul 04, 2020
"Like a lot of people, I’ve been reading, listening, praying and asking questions about white fragility and how to be an anti-racist. I thought it might be helpful to hear someone’s personal process of practicing anti-racism and hear the questions I’m asking and what I’ve been learning.
I used to think that “waking up” meant that you did it once. You read some personal growth books, take some personal growth seminars, meditate and you are awake. Now in my sixth decade on the planet, I can tell you that waking up to new insights happens daily. Asking questions, being willing to listen, digesting new views, changing and integrating new behaviors. At my first Evolutionary Women Retreat in 2005, the leaders said, “I will stay awake with you.” I will stay awake with you is a reminder to stay awake to what you have awakened to and get ready for awakening every day that you are on the planet."

Living Your Purposeful Life with Sean Higgins
Wednesday Apr 08, 2020
Wednesday Apr 08, 2020
In this episode with Sean Higgins, we talked about what led him to write his book: Living Your Purposeful Life and about the Morning Calm Meditations that he started a few weeks ago to help people during #stayathome. We also talked about how this is a good time to practice going inward. Most of us were raised in a society that encourages productivity and do, do, do. And here we are a time of global shutdown. It has disrupted our daily routines and given us a chance to pause and reflect on our lives. To practice going inward.
Sean is the CTO (Chief Technology Officer) of Herjavec Group in Canada. He is also a certified coach.
From the book description of Living Your Purposeful Life: "As part of the process, many of us forget what we came into this lifetime to experience. In Living Your Purposeful Life, I am going to share my journey and, I hope, that through my sharing, you are going to start questioning how you are acting, what you believe, and who you should be and on the other side, you will start Living Your Purposeful Life."

Carving a New Path: Introduction
Saturday Apr 04, 2020
Saturday Apr 04, 2020
Today is the first episode of a podcast called Carving a New Path.
I could have titled this podcast Living with Uncertainty. Navigating Change. Embracing a New World. Reinvent Yourself. The Year of Social Distancing. Or something to do with COVID-19.
But all of those titles lead to the same thing. Something has changed in your life and created enough of a disruption to the life you were living and no matter what you try to do you can’t change that. Right now, there is a world-wide global disruption and the potential for a global awakening.
